Hailing from the Australian country music capital of Tamworth, NSW, Simon's roots lie in the sense of community and authenticity of rural life. His upbringing taught him the value of growth that comes from a tenacious approach to life as well as building lasting relationships with others.

Impact
A testament to his skill and impact, Simon received the 2020 Australian HR Awards Excellence Award for his strategic work at Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific. He was a previous mentor for Queensland Tourism Industry Council’s Young Professional Mentoring Program, and was on the National Advisory Board Employment for the Accommodation Association of Australia, aimed at driving learning and development pathways for the hospitality sector.
He is currently pursuing an MBA and is a long time Certified Gallup Strengths Coach. He has been invited to be a keynote speaker and panellist at major industry conferences including the HR Summit. Simon’s Bachelor of Laws also gives him a unique edge in handling complex HR legal and compliance issues.
